The band HIM announced the end and is preparing a farewell tour!


After long silence and inactivity, the HIM Finnish band has announced to fans that they are preparing for a farewell tour that will end the final chapter of their long 26-year career!

HIM, originally His Infernal Majesty, is a Finnish rock band that originated in Helsinki in 1991. They are made up of Ville Valo – singer, lyricist, Lily Lazer (guitar), Migé Amour (bass), Gas Lipstick and Emerson Burton keyboards).

The HIM music style is a fan and Ville Valo-m is called Love Metal. Ville said that the group had started as a tribute to Black Sabbath. On DVD Love Metal Archives Vol. Even Ville said he was already disgusted with the journalists asking him (and the whole group) about what HIM they were playing. Because of this, they created a genre called Love Metal (which is also the name of their 2003 album). Critics, whether right or wrong, often include genres: alternative rock, gothic metal or gothic rock. But their musical style varies between albums and songs.

Ville Valo, frontman of the band, wrote to HIM official Facebook: “After a century of intertwined love and metal, honestly, HIM has gone through its unnatural path to the end and we have to find a way to unseen sight, smell and sound to say goodbye. Well thank you”
